A Whole New World! Arielle Jacobs to Join Broadway’s Aladdin as Princess Jasmine

Arielle Jacobs is heading to Broadway to take on the role of Princess Jasmine in Disney’s Aladdin beginning on February 20, 2018. Luckily, she’s got a diamond in the rough who can show her the ropes: her brother Adam Jacobs, who originated the titular role on Broadway and is currently leading the national tour. Jacobs played the role of Jasmine in the Australian production of Aladdin and was most recently seen on the Great White Way as Nessarose in Wicked. She made her Broadway debut in In the Heights and appeared in the musical on the road; her additional credits include Into the Woods and High School Musical on tour.  Read more…

Arielle Jacobs to Star in World Premiere of Between the Lines Musical

Arielle JacobsThe New York-aimed adaptation of Jodi Picoult and Samantha van Leer’s best-selling book will open Kansas City Rep’s season. Kansas City Repertory Theatre has announced initial casting for the world premiere of Between the Lines, a musical adaptation of Jodi Picoult and Samantha van Leer’s best-selling book of the same name. The new musical is billed as “Broadway-aspiring” and will be presented by special arrangement with Tony Award-winning producer Daryl Roth (Kinky Boots), who has been behind the project since its inception. Read more…
